We only use cookies the site needs to work. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so we don't ask for consent. If we add analytics later, we will ask first.

Necessary cookies

• sb-…-auth-token – keeps you signed in (Supabase). Lasts until you sign out or it expires.
• sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier – a one-time check while you sign in with an email link; removed once you are signed in.
• NEXT_LOCALE – the site language of the pages you visit; deleted when you close the browser.

Functional cookies

• rtj_area – the city you picked for “near you” on the home page and for the workplace search (or, only if you choose “My location”, your location rounded to about 1 km). Stays on your device for one year; we don't store it anywhere else.
• rtj_tz – your browser's time zone (for example Europe/Budapest), used to guess your city when we can't tell it from your connection. One year.

Stored in your browser

• Page counter (sessionStorage) – counts the pages viewed in this tab so the back arrow knows where to go; deleted when you close the tab.
• Review draft (localStorage) – so a half-finished review isn't lost, also while you confirm your email. Stays only on your device and is deleted when the review is sent.
• rtj:area (localStorage) – the area you picked under the workplace search field, so the next search starts there.
• Dashboard welcome band (localStorage) – remembers that you closed the “Welcome to your business dashboard” steps.

Embedded badges

RateThatJob badges and the Careers Hub jobs widget shown on other websites set no cookies and record nothing about visitors. We only count which website shows them.
